Strategy Corner Need some help on deck building? This is for new and old to Pokemon. We are soliciting our league members to write strategy articles. Deck Mechanics is much harder than it seems. The right mix of cards is crucial to a good deck. If you have input email it to the Gym Leader and it will find its way here.

Tips Don’t go for holographic cards. Buy Non-holo cards if possible. Holo cards are usually quadruple price. Think carefully about the pokemon's stats. The HP for example, is good if it is at least 50 for a basic, 70 for a stage 1 and 90 for a stage 2 Anything lower may not be worth playing much and anything higher is considered very good. Recommended Booster Packs for beginning players are: Ruby/Sapphire, Sandstorm, and Hidden Legends Theme Decks are recommended for Begining players. They help you get the trainer cards you need and enough energies to buld decks with. Most of the current ones have very hard to find cards (in packs) and really start you off fast Bryan Stevenson |
